Corn!
Tonight we had corn on the cob for dinner. For Kevin I always cut it away from the cob. But tonight Kevin really wanted to eat off of Steve's ear of corn.
Hi Kevin, The purpose of this blog is for me to catalog what you do, what milestones you accomplish, and little stories for you. I want it to be a window into your life as you grow up. I want to share my dreams, my hopes and my aspirations with you. While also recording your funny and shocking moments. For the time being this blog is just from me to you. But I am sure that in time it will be opened to others.
Right now you are a little over two. These are the years you won't remember. So I want to write down stories for you so you can at least know what you did and what you were like at this age. And selfishly so I can look back and remember my amazing and sweet little boy. Each day with you is such an adventure, most of the time we are having a blast, while at other times I am exacerbated with you. When you are a teenager and I am at a loss, I want to look back at these times and remember the little boy who loves to cuddle and sits on my lap so I can read him stories.
I am going to try very hard to keep up with this blog and to do my best to recapture the last two years.
My sweet, wonderful, amazing little boy, I love you so much! I want to write you more, but you have just woken up from your nap, and you are sitting at your bedroom door calling for me in this pitiful little voice. "Mommy, Mommy, Mommy!" So I am off to rescue you and give you a huge hug.
Long before I started this blog for you I have had a blog to keep our families and friends updated. In order to try and update the last two years I have copied all of those posts here for you to see. There are also some posts on here that are written just to you. They haven't been shared with anyone else.

Our boys are growing up. It is so hard to believe they will be two in a couple months. I love your new blog layout.
