You can't leave him alone for a moment!

I went to the bathroom this morning and left Kevin happily playing on the floor. And when I came back he had crawled up on his train table and was playing with his car. I have no clue how he got up there, he usually used a toy as a step stool but I had moved them so he couldn't use them. He also let me catch a photo of him "walking". More photos are in the slideshow.

Double digits

Kevin is now in the double digits, he turned 10 months old today. He is always on the move and is having a blast trying to walk everywhere. He has gotten pretty good at taking 3-5 steps at a time, but most the time he still walks down the furniture.

He can now climb up on the couch on his own and if he sees my laptop open he will make a beeline for the couch. He can now climb up in in about 10 seconds, so don't turn your back! He also likes to climb over the back of the couch and grab things off the ledge behind it.

He is also growing each day, he seems to be taller, but I can't prove it (he won't stay still long enough for me to measure him). His hair is also filling out, it is getting long enough to almost think of getting him a hair cut. But not quite.

The last few weeks have been a bit tougher because Kevin got a sore throat and wasn't feeling too well. And we found out that tomatoes don't sit well with his stomach, so that has had him feeling pretty yucky too.

Well I have taken some photos on his "birthday" and you can find them in my picasa account or check them out in the slideshow.

He's on the move

Kevin has now learned how to crawl up on the couch and he is loving being able to run around on it. I have uploaded some great photos into my Picasa account.

He's almost there

Well it looks like Kevin is going to be walking in no time at all. He is now getting really good at standing without holding on. And he can take about 3-4 steps before he falls to his knees or body slams the floor (usually he lands on me or a pillow). He is also enjoying this new found freedom, today he has fun standing and just giggling at his accomplishment.
