Kevin turned 6 months old yesterday, I can't believe he is growing up so quickly! At his doctor's appointment he weighed 20 lbs and 8 oz (90th%), 27 inches (75%). He also got 3 shots, he really didn't like that part but he was really good about it. He cried when he got them but stopped when I was able to pick him up and comfort him.
We also took him to the park yesterday and got some wonderful photos. When Steve gets some time he will post them. The pond was so pretty that when you look at the photos it almost looks like a commerical backdrop. Kevin also had some fun feeding the ducks some bread. We also saw this little duck chic, it was so cute.

Bye! ::Waving::
Kevin has learned how to wave goodbye. When Steve was leaving for work this morning, he waved goodbye to Kevin and Kevin waved back! I thought it was a fluke, so randomly I have been waving at him and saying "Hi" or "Goodbye" and he waves back. It is so cute.

More wonderful things!
Last night when I was getting Kevin's bath ready I left him playing on the floor. When I looked up to check on him he did a small army crawl towards the remote control. I was in shock, I ran into the living room and he did it again! It was so cool. He didn't get far- about 2 inches- but still! My little man is figuring out how to crawl!
This morning he is back down on the floor with a toy cell phone in front of him and I am working on getting him to army crawl to it again. I am also happy that while watching him try to crawl (he is currently pushing himself backwards instead of forwards) he dropped his pacifier and put it back in his mouth! I have been trying to get him to do this for months! Yea another milestone!

Things I never want to forget
The last two days Kevin has been incredibly funny, a few moments are ones that I don't want to ever forget.
Kevin has begun to fully realize that he has a cat. Yesterday he kept staring at Kit and began talkign to Kit to get his attention. So I called Kit over and Kevin immediately grabbed his tail. It was so funny to see Kit's face (shock) and Kevins (glee). Kit is in for a surprise when Kevin can crawl.
Another great moment was yesterday when Kevin woke up from his nap. He was just laying there being fussy until I came in. As soon as he saw me he looked at me and said "Hi". Now I don't think he really said Hi like we mean it, it was more of a noise, but it was an awesome moment.
The other moment came this morning when I was changing him. As part of our "game" when I pull off his shirt I grab his arms and wave them in the air and say "Yeaaaa!" This morning when I pulled off his shirt he just looked at me and said "Yea" I looked back at him and said Yeaaaaa! He grined and said Yea. Now I can't get him to say it again! Once again I am sure he is just making noise and these really aren't his first words, but they sure are said at great times and are just so cute.

5 Wonderful Months
It is hard to believe that 5 months have already passed! We are all doing great. Kevin has definately mastered flipping from his back to his tummy, and we are working on flipping back over. He also has begun to enjoy sitting unassisted. He is still a bit wobbly but he is getting quite good at it. Steve took some photos to celebrate Kevins 5 month birthday, they are in his gallery if you would like to look. They are all wonderful, but I think the one of Kevin and Kit is great. Kit put on his best "smile" for the photo.

So much in so little time...
Hi. We have been really busy lately and we are very sorry we haven't updated our photo galleries yet.
Last weekend we went to Galveston to visit Kim, Eric, Daniel and Phillip and Kevin got his first trip to the ocean. On Sunday we had a great Easter and on Thursday Kevin turned 4 months old. So as you can see we have had a very busy week.
Hopefully we will have photos posted soon of our adventures!
At Kevin's 4 month Doctor appointment we found out he now weighs 17lbs 15oz, he is in the 90th percentile for his age group (he is such a cute chunky guy!). For his height he is in the 50th percentile. We have also talked to the Dr and have decided that sometime after his 5 month birthday we will try him on real food.
We will try and post some photos in Steve's photo gallery soon, included we will have ocean, Easter and birthday photos.
